José Montes de Oca and Pedro Duque Cornejo
St. Anne Retable: Detail, St. Joachim

Joachim is identified by the lamb and the context (a retable of St. Anne). His right hand holds what appears to be the top of a now-lost staff, another of his attributes.

The church's guide book credits Montes and Duque for the sculpture on the retable but does not specify which one did which statues. Both artists did their work in the 18th century.
